Made Some Effort
So Lifehacker had some tips about starting a new blog that I found interesting. Well, for the most part.
Of the twenty tips, a few were bummers. Registering a domain name, I think, has sort of lost it's meaning in today's world of blogs. It definetly isn't going to help a new blog that no one knows in the first place. Either will "geotagging your blog".
What was good was the multiple sites listed to register your site with. I registered with Findory and Blogwise, although Blogwise is manual and I was something like 5500 back in the queue (or 22 days as they put it).
So now I'm trying to think of other ways to get noticed out there in the sea of blogs. I don't really think there is much of a way around good writing to get you noticed.
Thought you might be interested in how I came to find your blog.
