Halo 1 Still Champ?

A short, 3-person LAN party last night still had me reeling over the original Halo. Of course, we are completely unable to talk about the king of all FPS, Perfect Dark, but only because it's not LAN and none of us have XBox 360s to compare ye old shooter.

Having not played Halo in months, since our last LAN party, I was worried it was going to feel old and stale, but that was not the case. Oddball in Boarding Party. Rockets in Prisoner. Snipers in Hang 'Em High. King of the Hill in Longest. All fantastic generators of curse words in the largest of quantities.

Unbelievable. The only improvements you can make to a game like that are more levels and no weak weapons. There really should never be a weak weapon. Ever.
