Nintendo: Not an Xbox 360

...thank god.

Nintendo released their specs on the Revolution and I'm happy to say they are sticking to their word.

Bascially it's about as fast as an Xbox and as powerful as two Gamecubes. It's funny though, with all this talk about their controller and all the downloadable games that will be available, I don't really care. I know that Nintendo it going to dedicate itself to this new box, rumored to be called "Go" when it hits shelves. Something so strange and new, Nintendo will undoubtedly have to back up it's measily hardware with some hard-selling game franchise and super unique content.

The more comments I see flying about Nintendo lately, show that I'm not alone. People realize that Resident Evil 4 was one of the prettiest games they've ever seen. I know that Black was even better on the Xbox. I don't really need much more glamor than what our current generation of consoles is putting out to be a happy gamer.

In fact, one of the greatest comments I've seen so far were from Ray on Gizmondo.com:

"Graphics don't make Nintendo games great. They're just a bonus."
I see this being true for all games coming up now. If they aren't pushing the fun, they're not going to be able to keep people from being a one-console-owner. So far, they're just having problems selling us on what they have!
