Damn you Sony!

If that big black brick didn’t have completely awesome exclusive games, I would melt it down, fashion it into a pile of dung, call it “The Poo Simulator 2”, and ship it back to the donkey’s that built it. When they were developing the thing, they though that it would be a multimedia powerhouse. If they would have concentrated on it playing the games and saving them also, it would have been an acceptable product.

The exclusive games on my list are, Gran Turismo (Tourist Trophy), Metal Gear, Ace Combat, Ratchet and Clank. Which GT4 will not play in my PS2, and has had corrupted files twice on my memory cards. I have had to start the game over twice and now it won’t play. People can say that I’m doing something when I save it (pull out the card or turn it off). No, I’m not a dummy. I’m not going to waste all of my hard work and then destroy it all.

I also have a lot of PS1 games that won’t play in it either. So with all that said who wants a game system that’s a “multimedia center”? One percent of the gaming population actually attempts to use it to its capabilities. So why don’t you just produce a true gaming console (which is what the vast majority of people want), that will dependably play games at a high caliber. All systems now should be backwards compatible. Don’t worry about all of the bells and whistles, just give us internet, give of a silly hard drive, and let us play our games! The Xbox was a good platform for Microsoft to progress from. But now they want to turn it into a computer. If I want a new computer, I’ll go buy one, you idiots.

Revolutionize the gaming experience, not the system. Computer games that are too much for consoles, is what they need to look at. Give me that on a console, give me Far Cry and Battlefield as they are on a computer, give me Civilization, Sim City, The Sims. Until you can do that, just stop wasting our time on the multimedia crap. I want an awesome game, with new downloadable add-ons to widen the spectrum. Give me “Black” with slightly better graphics and sound, new downloadable maps, more weapons, and maybe some mission variants (like taking a hostage or escort a VIP.

In other words, the gaming community as a hole wants Black to be a little blacker.
