My first submission to GameFAQs, it's a start

I'm sick of hearing people comparing TT to Polyphony Digital's other games. They used the same engine, and some of the same tracks.

Yes, some of the tracks have changed to fit GP racing. Some people believe nothing changed. Well they don't pay enough attention to details.

Yes the button configuration is a little overwhelming at times, but if you give it time you'll start ticking off some awesome laps.

If people would stop to think. All of the EA Sports games run on the same engine. They could also be criticized for being the same game, every year, year after year.

So back to TT. It is a game that has been put together well. It still has jittery video from time to time. The sound affects are real bike specific, each one has a distinct tone. The first person view gives you a true sense of speed. 180mph comes up real quick.
So if you want the feel of being ten years old riding your ten speed with the ka-chink, ka-chink of the chain. Pick up Moto GP.

If you want to get on a bike, flick your wrist and take a long beautiful stare at the sky. This is the game for you. The controls are ultra responsive, and really noticeable during the replay. You notice every subtle movement of the rider.

Sure it’s nice to be able to customize your riding gear but some of it is a little lame. But the beauty of the bikes makes it worth it. And yes there are no credits, and yes you have to earn your bikes. But the purpose of credits in GT is the massive amount of after market parts. Common sense tells you if there are no after market parts, then you should really earn those bikes you want to race.

The biggest downfall is the lack of accessing both players garages in two player. And also no photo mode for two player.

I didn’t want to get into specifics of my rating, but if I’m contested I may have to.

So all in all, don’t look for GT 4.5. Look for TT1. A great stand alone game that could very well be an awesome series.
