It Has a Headache
The Xbox hasn't been touched in a week.
I haven't felt the need to play Hexic or Perfect Dark or anything. I dabbled with Geometry Wars, yes, but it was half hearted. Maybe quartered.
Viewtiful Joe was an easy $10 purchase at Target. It's difficulty is right up there with Ikaruga and Alien Hominid. Ikaruga is still the hardest game I've never beaten (and never will). At least Viewtiful Joe gives me some sort of graphics and sound when I die instead of just "Game Over". How old school.
The flea market also coffed up a $3 copy of Metroid. When I got home, I realized that I gave my NES and SNES to my parents for my nieces to play, or learn to play. But I'm slowly realizing that, like the first time I sold my NES, it was a mistake and I want them both back. Not really because I play them a lot, but for when I buy a new game that I used to have. I like to relish in those years for a few minutes at a time. Play some Street Fighter, wander around in Earthbound, throw a few ShyGuys in Mario 2.
