Windows: Ray-Hound
Ok, I just downloaded Ray-Hound for Windows and I'm really impressed.
You move your ship around with the mouse and use your shield with the left
mouse button. Turrets are constantly firing death rays at you. Since you
have no weapons yourself, you pull up your shield right as they blast your
ship and pull the rays into orbit around your ship. You are now a flying
space machine with death rays at your gravitational command.
You can either just wait 'till the rays loop around to release them back
at your foe, or gather a whole bunch from a group of turrets and fly over
to a single turret and whip out a barrage of pretty lazer fire to
obliterate it. It's fast and dirty.
Another tactic is to move your mouse fast towards a firing turret. Your
ship will create a forward sheild to deflect the ray back.
Or you can be dangerous and collect a group of fire and fly around the
screen. The g-force of flying around with increase the radius of the
swirling, captured turret fire and with good maneuvering, will slingshot
the blasts back into the turrets of your choosing.
Your shield can only catch rays for a second, but once you have them you
can hold on to them for a long time. It's definetly a fun game.
