Guitar Hero II: Electric Boogaloo

With O purchasing the game and bcullers preordering the $90 360 version, I was pulled back in to another round of GH2.

I started off with the slow process of 5-starring all the songs on easy. I don't think I ever got below a 97% on any of the songs. I wasn't really impressed with myself for that. Medium was another story. Still easy. Still not impressed. But finally not bored. Another button and chords can really make a difference. The last group of songs got me stoked though. I never played any song twice, but Free Bird had me questioning my 5-star abilities. I stuck with it and scored probably the lowest 5-star rating there is. I think it was an 89%.

Foolishly, right before bed, I tried to 5-star the first song on hard. Shout at the Devil, a song I had previously blown through with 3 stars, showed me it's pimp hand and introduced it to my face. When I missed the last chord of the song, I realized that a lot more concentration, say, a 5pm concentration, was necessary to start clearing these songs out.
