Spider-Man 3: Third Time's a Charm?

Spider-Man 3 might just be the first movie based video game I've ever bought.

I'm a long-term tenant at Camp Movies-Make-Bad-Games. We roast Lord of the Rings by the fire while telling ghost stories about Judge Dredd, Indiana Jones and Superman.

I was almost intrigued enough to buy the first Spider-Man game. I rented it or played the demo in a store. One of those two. But ultimately I passed on it. Something about just didn't seem finished.

But the latest preview on IGN has me pretty much sold. None of the bad stuff from Spider-Man 2 with a bunch of fixes. No pointless repeating missions and more active scenery make sense in any game. Push-button Spidey-sense is okay. I guess Spider-Man could use it whenever he wanted.

I hope a demo shows up on Live. I can then add it to my list of games to buy, which currently includes Lost Planet, Crackdown, and Viva Pinata.
