Call of Duty 4

Even with the online connection issues, Call of Duty 4 is the only online game I will play. I have seen in message boards where people are having issues joining Team Death match games. It seems that some people experience the problem while using a router. Some have had it work great (like me) until the put in a different game. What that has to do with it, I don’t know, maybe nothing. But is it a coincidence that this has happened to so many people?

Now that I have went on that rant, tonight I am going to jump my router to see if that fixes the issues. Then I am going to play some really fun, consuming, well spent time killing people. It can be fun to see it which ways you die too. (When you die you get to see from your killers prospective how you met your maker). Perks make the game continually worth while, because you can change your approach to each match to the three perk settings. If it is a tight map, I like shotguns, with the extra frag grenade in Perk 1, sonic boom (explosions are bigger) on Perk 2, and martyrdom (you drop a grenade at you death as a final hoo-rah) for Perk 3. That way you can have big boom in a compact area.

The more you progress in online play you open more perks, weapons, and challenges (challenges consist of kills and head shots with every weapon, and many other perks for killing people in different ways, such as blowing up a car and the car explosion kills someone).

Every once in a while you will run into someone trying to complete a challenge, not being a team player. But for the most part people will want to win every match. Wins give you some points but that’s it, nothing special for winning a certain amount of games or anything.

It is simple, kill or be killed, get points or give points.

CoD4 has all of the game types you want from all of your favorite FPS’s. And in some cases takes them to another level. The maps and weapons create a very balanced game play. In H*** 3 (that 4 letter work I can’t say) that game play is missing something. Some games don’t play well on certain maps, or certain weapons give people advantages. Not the case here, even the newby can kill, and kill on a regular basis. Just don’t be dumb about it.

Cod4 online is put together so well that no FPS can touch it. If you haven’t played it, get yourself together, stop trying to finish your basement (because there are more important things to do). Return some of those light fixtures for the cash to pick it up.

That all I’ve got to say about it……for now.

  1. Oh I've stopped. Because someone I know is too busy playing CoD4 all freakin' day instead of wiring my basement.
