The Swamp of Weblogs, Inc.

I love blogs. I have three. I mostly use them for writing, but this one is for me and Otis to talk about games to each other. Write reviews for each other. Show each other dumb things on the internet.

Like this: Revolution Fanboy.

Presented by Joystick. Owned by Weblogs, Inc.

Weblogs, Inc. runs almost 100 blogs as of today (tomorrow it could be millions!). Here are just the video game related blogs:

Blogging E3, DS Fanboy, Engadget: Gaming, Joystiq, PSP Fanboy, Revolution Fanboy, WoW Insider, Xbox 360 Fanboy.

I bet before Summer, they have a blog for every next gen console, fighting each other in a well in the basement of Weblogs, Inc. Every once in awhile, when Jason McCabe Calacanis isn't admiring himself in a video camera (blog), he'll walk down to the dark well and pass down a bucket to them all and tell them to "rub the lotion on it's skin or else they'll get the hose again".

The funny thing is that all the Weblogs, Inc. writers write for other Weblogs, Inc blogs. They even cross-breed blogs. When one says something interesting, the other copies or links it on another blog basically replicating itself. I understand about digital media and all, but this is a little bit silly.
