Black: Review

Man, oh man. What a game!

I would never have expected this game to shine as much as it did. Fantastic graphics, excellent sound (ohh, those guns!) and sweet and short gameplay.

One thing I thought they did that was better than any other FPS game was instead of having end level bosses, it more realistically gave you a place to have to go. You almost expect a tank boss be waiting for you because of the way the game moves. It's arcade like that in some respects, but it does let you take your time and make it more realistic. So instead of a boss, you get a large bunker with machine gun turrets and a box of grenades.

Sweet, sweet grenades.

The gameplay was perfect. Lots of shooting with just a few really great weapons. A few different levels of objectives makes this game one I want to buy just to play through the harder difficulties. And I already beat it! The levels are a tad long and the enemies are pretty repetitious, but that's a minor scratch in smooth game.

Good find Otis. You got more balls me buying games than me. This one even paid off!
