PS2 Price Reduction? Xbox to Follow?

That's the rumor. Sony first. Xbox to follow. $100-129 for the PS2. Same for the Xbox? I tie the Xbox in because I still flirt with the idea of replacing my Live-banned Xbox.

For what ungodly know purpose I have no idea. My patience for online gaming has slowly gone down the tube. I am fighting it everyway thought. I like to think the target market for online gaming includes me. Our cable bill that includes cable internet was dependent on it. But the market is...well...unsavory.

So...at least there is a new PS2 in it for you. I mean, hell, my Xbox plays games, your PS2 doesn't. And of course there is always eBay
...but you have to sort through all the listings of lasers and other PS2 parts. Looks like your not alone.
