Shilling Transformers 2: The Game

While I do expect to at least read reviews on the new Transformers game coming out this summer, in hopes of at least playing a demo (I didn't even look at the first Transformers movie game), watching actors trying to sell people on the game, VOICE actors no less, really doesn't help us understand what's going on in the game or give us any kind of feel for it.

Quote in point, John DiMaggio, who voices Sideways, says that the online portion of the game is "going to be amazing...people are going to freak out."

Now I don't know about you, but the last time anyone said anything remotely close to that, I regretted the purchase a lot faster. He better hope that people are freaking out about how awesome the game is over how awesome it's predecessor was. Maybe they're lucky that LEGO game maker Travel's Tales isn't involved in this one. Since they're buried deep in LEGO bricks making a LEGO Rock Band, maybe the two new developers hired to replace them can do twice as well.

Mmm...maybe and not.

I know I'm harsh, but don't give me the guy that installed the carpet in my car to tell me how well put together the engine is.
