The idiot in the article makes a statement about them helping you move faster. But simple physics tell us that it allows for better fine tuned control, which could be good for a sniper with there sensitivity on high. Or it should work good on a game like Forza 3. When you don't want to spend the money on a wheel. I would assume this would be the way to go.
